Campbell River Estuary by Kayak

The Campbell River Estuary, where the river meets the ocean, is in the heart of our city. And like the heart, it supports life as it flows with power, strength, and beauty.  A leisurely kayak tour in the estuary, whether guided or self-guided, has been described by our guests as “a Disney ride through the Amazon.” It connects Campbell River’s past with the present, offering a chance to slow down and immerse in nature. With majestic bald eagles soaring above; curious seals, herons, and beavers watching you quietly glide through their world; and spawning salmon completing life’s journey beneath you – a sense of peace and connection surrounds you.  Kayaking in the estuary is a must-do Campbell River experience.

* Suitable for all levels from beginner to expert.
**Kayaking is tide-dependent. Please call 855-830-8522 or email us at hello@islandjoyrides.com to confirm the best time to kayak during your requested day.
